JOHN CLARK Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing John Clark brings over 30 years of management experience in the high technology business to the Duncan Group. John previously served as a senior consultant and in executive management positions in the Information Technology industry in sales, marketing, and as a general manager of various product groups. His experience spans hardware, software and consulting services. John's independent consulting assignments included working as a senior management and marketing consultant, primarily with high technology start-up businesses in the software and services market sectors. The consulting engagements have included companies specializing in Business Intelligence, Internet Security and Network Attached Storage. His contributions have included development of marketing strategies, sales and compensation plans, and key channel partner strategies and alliances. John became a consultant following 5 years as an executive vice president with Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) in California. He was promoted to that position after a highly successful 6 years with HDS as European Vice President of Marketing based in London. During his tenure as EVP, he initiated and then led the company's first major move into the open systems and solutions business as head of their New Business Unit. He subsequently managed the channels marketing activities for HDS worldwide as HDS established an industry leadership position in storage products. Prior to joining HDS, John Clark spent 22 years with IBM where he worked in systems engineering, sales and marketing management in a variety of positions both in the UK and in IBM's European headquarters in Paris. During this time, John established the first channel marketing strategies and alliances for IBM Europe. John holds a B.Sc. Degree in mathematics from Hull University in England.
