LEN M. DUNCAN Founder and CEO Len M. Duncan is the founder and CEO of the Duncan Group, a Silicon Valley based Systems Integration firm providing Information Technology integrated solutions and consulting services to business, government and education. He founded the Duncan Group in 1991, and has been directly responsible for formulating customer relationships with many key companies throughout the Bay Area and the U. S. Len has personally consulted to several companies in the areas of strategy, sales, marketing, and professional services. He has also managed the development of RFPs for major customer acquisitions of hardware, services and software. Prior to founding the Duncan Group, Len Duncan served as President of Andor America, Inc., a computer systems start up company founded by Dr. Gene M. Amdahl. Before joining Dr. Amdahl at Andor, he spent 15 years at Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) and predecessor companies, National Advanced Systems (NAS) and ITEL. His various responsibilities included Regional Vice President, Vice President of Worldwide Strategic Accounts, and Vice President of Systems Integration. He led the design and development of the business plans and the business models for the Strategic Accounts and Systems Integration initiatives, and managed the implementation of very successful business units for these then new NAS/HDS entrepreneurial activities. Len began his career at IBM after a tour of duty in the Viet Nam war as an artillery officer. He holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree, with majors in accounting and finance, from The Ohio State University. In a volunteer capacity, Len serves as President of the Board of Directors of West Valley/Mission Colleges Foundation, and is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Triton Art Museum.
